Sole Mates
Every child deserves to walk into school feeling confident and cared for. Through Sole Mates, community members purchase a brand new pair of shoes for a student in need — and on the big day, each child gets to meet the person who chose them.
Sole Mates is about so much more than shoes. It's about a child knowing that someone in their community saw them, thought of them, and showed up for them. When the date is set, kids and their Sole Mates come together for a joyful celebration — full of laughter, gratitude, and love. Every child walks away with new shoes on their feet and something even more important: the feeling that they matter.

Backpacks given away
Back to School Bash
The Back to School Bash is one of the biggest days of our year. Families come together to shop the family market for clothing, enjoy food, and let the kids have fun — while our community partners show up in a big way. The Alvin Police Department, Alvin Fire Department, Community Health Network, and Alvin ISD's Book Bus are all on site to educate, engage, and connect with families. To date, we have given away 900+ backpacks filled with school supplies to children heading into a new school year.
